Influenster Spring VoxBox: Bath & Body Works Fine Fragrance Mist

Well, when I saw this bottle, all 6” of it carefully wrapped in bubble wrap, I got scared. Why? I suffer from migraines and one of my triggers just happens to be scents! So I was verrrry wary to try Bath & Body Works’ Twilight Mist.
As I agreed to review Influenster’s VoxBox, I did very trepidatiously take whiff of the spray and didn’t encounter any of the normal symptoms! YAY! But I didn’t care much for the smell…
And neither does the less fairer of the sex—my husband asked if he could take it to work in case his office became, shall we say, less than pleasant smelling!

Influenster Spring VoxBox: AVEENO Daily Moisturizing Body Wash
Retail price: $6.99 - $8.99 for full sized bottle
I first starting using Aveeno (bar) in my preteen/tween years, the smell so distinct, it reminds me of many things. I’ve always held Aveeno in high standing in comparison to the majority of beauty brands and products. And as I believe Influenster’s target audience is 20 somethings, I was very pleased to see a product which is for any age.
According to the bottle, Aveeno’s Active Naturals Daily Moisturizing Body Wash “helps replenish skin’s natural moisture; for visibly healthier skin; dermatologist recommended.”
I actually used this product after an allergic reaction and it really did calm my skin. As for moisture, I don’t think my skin is softer, but I’m not dry or ashy. I did feel like I had to wash the product off as it didn’t just come off under the shower.

Influenster Spring VoxBox: Chapstick LipSHIELD365
Retail price: $1.89 - $2.39
As one who’s always looking for sun protection, Chapstick LIPSHIELD365 is definitely something I’d use. With an SPF of 50+, I’ve searched for high SPF for lips a great deal and agree with the package’s claims that this is the “maximum SPF protection for lips”.
That said, I only would use this product for protection rather than cosmetic reasons. While it seems to moisturize, there are other products whose texture I prefer and are longer lasting and more pleasant to the senses. LipSHIELD365 smells and tastes a bit like a lemon lime soda without the fizz.

To be honest, the fragrance scares me! I get migraines and fragrances are a huge trigger! So do I give it a go, testing it to see if it knocks me out? Something I’ll have to decide.
Once again, Influenster proves my suspicions on who its audience is with its nail selection. The Holiday VoxBox had Impress Nails (with Nicole Scherzinger as spokesperson); here it’s Sally Hansen’s version of Minx, Salon Effects.
I’m really thrilled about the inclusion of Aveeno whose products have delivered for years! Nice one, Influenster!
In terms of marketing and pr, are account managers advising their clients well? If I only have 140 characters on social media, will I be able to fit “#imsheercovered”, “#walkingonair”, #aveenoactivenaturals”, “#LUVFragrance”, and “lipshield365”? Only one of the aforementioned hashtags made it into the tweet promoting this post.

If you’ve read my reviews, you know I spend a good deal of time researching restaurants, specifically their NY DOH grades and violations (http://www.yelp.com/bi…). As is the case, it’s difficult to find a place to eat. Enter a new app, GRADE SPOTTER! A must download, it has made my research simple, determining the user’s location, listing nearby restaurants & grades—you can even click on the rating to see the date they were graded, as well as the violations! And thanks to Grade Spotter, I found Tramonti!
Tramonti is a cute, little place like you’d find in Tuscany (not that I know…I’m just thinking). While we didn’t have a reservation (and you should make one), we were seated at a small table in the back. The chairs are bit weird, almost as if they were handmade…and I’m pretty sure they were disproportionate to the table. Here’s a round up:
Diet Coke: A bar Coke, you know? So it was ehhh.
Pizza: My husband and I were going to order a pie, but we were told they were personal pizzas so we got 2. We should’ve stuck with our plan for one pie—the pies are rather big for one person to eat and we wound up taking a whole pie to go.
We like a saucy pie and ordered it as such: extra sauce, light cheese. Tramonti did as we asked with a hint of basil. I can’t rave about the pizza since the sauce tasted like it was from a can. Sorry, but I’m telling you what I thought.
Service: Friendly and quick! :)
Atmosphere: Great acoustics! I heard everyone’s conversation behind us and next to us. Tables are placed close together so much so I can tell you the entire conversation of the 2 young men next to us, one of whom lives on the UES and loves Hell’s Kitchen…and how a certain club has to maintain a line out front, otherwise who would want to go.

Meet Spikey Bulba, Men In Black star of Dunkin’ Donuts’ latest campaign. While you may have seen the DD commercials he’s in or the ads (as shown), it’s the DunkinMIB3 app that let’s you really get to know the little guy!
Feed him donuts and iced coffee to play games and interact with the little guy. He’ll even text you and show you his personality! He’s quite the charmer!
